Bagi anda yang suka Menggunakan Picassa di Windows, jangan khawatir kini anda dapat melihat album foto anda yang indah dengan Google Picassa di Ubuntu. Berikut ini langkah-langkah instalasinya :

1. Pilih System-> Administration -> Software Sources
2. Pilih Tab Third party Software –> Pilih Add di Kiri bawah
3. Isi APT line berikut ini :
deb http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/ stable non-free main
4. Klik Add source, lalu Close
5. Dari terminal, lakukan perintah berikut ini :
sudo wget -q -O – https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub | apt-key add -apt-get update
6. setelah itu anda bisa menginstall picassa menggunakan apt-get command :
$sudo apt-get install picassa
